FAQ General Questions

To be able to react quickly to the dynamic infection situation of the Covid-19 pandemic, Mainz University of Applied Sciences uses a traffic light system with different operating modes. In RED mode, the university is strictly closed to the public. ORANGE stands for basic operating mode, YELLOW for limited on-site operating mode and GREEN for the university's regular operating mode.

The Corona Safety Concept and Instructions and the related Table A (both in German) provide concrete information on the availability of university resources and facilities, the respective restrictions and basic measures for each operating mode.

In operating modes ORANGE and YELLOW it is possible to check out books, media, etc. from the university library to a limited extent. For more detailed information, please see Table A of the Corona Safety Concept and Instructions (in German) and the homepage of the library.
