Long night of postponed papers

The second Long night of postponed papers was held on February 1 in the library on campus.

About 40 students from all three schools took advantage of the offer to concentrate on their writing projects from noon to midnight. Always within reach: writing advisors who provided immediate assistance with questions about literature and citation.

An extensive workshop program also offered students the opportunity to learn about the composition and structuring options of academic papers, and to get to know literature management programs and tips for Microsoft Word. The events, which were held by speakers from the library, the writing workshop of the Academic Success Management Office, and Hayko Kadiyan, a doctoral student at Mainz University of Applied Sciences, were well attended by the participants of the Long night of postponed papers.

Yoga instructor Andrea Gonzalez provided relaxation in between, transforming the library’s group room into a yoga studio with yoga mats and lots of good vibes.

The next Long night of postponed papers will take place in the 2023 summer semester.
