Project Idea

The Intrapreneurship Project called „Value Creating and Intrapreneurship in a Changing World” focuses intrapreneurial education and development. Recently, intrapreneurship, meaning entrepreneurial behavior in a corporate surrounding, frequently in large firms, has become more and more important. People holding a responsible position in such companies are expected to think and act in an entrepreneurial manner though they might not be bearing financial liability for the company’s capital: Intrapreneurship - and this is exactly what theproject focus is about.

The project is composed out of two parts

Starting at the University of Applied Sciences in Mainz all project participants are theoretically introduced into the behavioral aspects of entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship and value creating.

Soon after the final exams of the summer term in Mainz the students move to Lisbon for a 5 days summer school in the Portuguese Capital. In teams of 4-7 people the students are developing intrapreneurial ideas for challenges supplied by companies in and around Lisbon, work out their business potential and create a value proposition. During this process each team is supported by a coach (entrepreneurs, investors). At the last day, the value propositions are presented to a jury of university - and external experts.
