At our first virtual general meeting on April 20, 2021, we welcomed a total of 23 members.

Following a warm welcome from Chairwoman Claudia Huberti, a report was given on the association’s activities over the past two years. This was followed by the election of the executive board, including four positions that were up for election. The positions of secretary and assistant secretary are now held by Jan Spacht (alumnus) and Fabian Lotz (student). Felicitas Bürger (student) and Michael Raab (alumnus) were elected as new board members. We would like to thank our former board members Ann-Kathrin Grohs, Soufiane El-Bali, Julian Mildner, and Guido Seibel for their many years of dedication.

In February, our student employee Ann-Kathrin Grohs was bid farewell by our Chairwoman Claudia Huberti and our Executive Director Dagmar Lehr. Both thanked her for her exceptionally dedicated work and expressed their regret that Ms. Grohs had to end her position as a student assistant after two years due to her studies.

Once again this year, we extended an invitation to our New Year’s gathering. Due to the circumstances, we met on Sunday, February 21, 2021, for a virtual “champagne” reception via Zoom. In a small group—consisting of 3 student members, 4 alumni, 1 former professor, 1 staff member, and members of the board—we discussed the events planned for the first half of the year, shared updates, and raised a toast together to the coming year. A wonderful start to the events of the coming year!
