2025 in Review

New Year's Gathering

Our New Year’s gathering took place on February 2. We started with breakfast together at Café Raab, where we kicked off the new year in a cozy atmosphere and had plenty of time to catch up.

Afterward, we visited an exhibition of works by Gustav Klimt, which provided plenty of topics for conversation with its impressive motifs and fascinating insights.

Board Meetings

Several board meetings were held throughout the year. We were also pleased to welcome new members to the board, who brought fresh energy and ideas to the association’s work. Together, we planned numerous exciting activities and events for our members.

Alumnity Gets Together

On October 23, Alumnity went on an outing with the WoMen Network Rhein-Main. Together, we visited Klassikstadt Frankfurt and gained fascinating insights into the world of classic cars.

It was an inspiring exchange in a special atmosphere that will remain in the memories of everyone involved for a long time to come.

Alumnity Presents

On November 27, an engaging presentation on cybersecurity took place as part of the “Alumnity Presents” series. Given the situation at the time, the event offered valuable insights into current security risks and provided practical tips for enhancing protection in everyday digital life and professional settings. The presentation was informative, highly relevant, and extremely helpful for all participants.

Germany Scholarship

Alumnity funded its first Germany Scholarship in 2025. It was awarded to Julia Respondek. This award recognizes not only outstanding academic achievement but also exceptional social engagement and dedication to the community, and is intended to further encourage the recipient in her future endeavors.

Graduation Ceremony

On December 6, the graduation ceremony took place—a highlight of the academic calendar during which the achievements of our graduates are duly honored. Alumnity had the special pleasure of presenting the Kurt Dörr Prize to Dr. Elke Lassahn on this occasion, thereby highlighting her exceptional dedication and achievements.
