Bridge module
If your previous degree program has less than 210 ECTS credits, but at least 180 ECTS credits, you have the opportunity to make up the "missing" 30 ECTS credits with the bridge module until registration for the master's thesis.
You can already apply for the master's program in the respective summer semester in order to complete the bridge module in the winter semester - i.e. before the official start of studies. Admission is granted for the bridge module. A final decision on admission will be made on the regular application date for the summer semester.
If you start regularly in the summer semester, you can complete the bridge module during your studies. The bridge module must be completed as follows:
- Internship 12 weeks full-time in an employment law or human resources department of a company, a public authority or an association.
- Case study and technical essay
- Block seminar / presentation / class (3 lecture dates of 8 hours each)
The application deadline for the bridge module in the winter semester is July 30. Applications are submitted to the Office of Student Affairs (Studienrendenbüro). Application via the application portal of Mainz University of Applied Sciences is not possible!
