The modules of the degree program are divided up thematically as follows:

Basic modules:

• Introduction to Business Administration, Mathematics, Basics of Information Systems, Basics of Economics, English, Statistics, Law.

IT/informatics modules:

• Programming I, Programming II, Software Engineering, Databases, Computer Networks and Architectures, electives

Business administration modules:

• Accounting, Investment and Financing, Materials Management/Logistics/Production, Marketing, Personnel and Organization as well as Corporate Management including Business Planning, electives

Information systems modules:

• Business Process Management, Business Intelligence Systems/Knowledge Management Systems, eBusiness, ERP systems, Project Management, electives

Study competence subjects:

• Methodology/Systematics/Presentation, Social Interaction

An extensive practical module ensures that the degree program is application-oriented and enables students to combine studies with vocational training or a career. You can present your experiences on a practical module day.

The modules are designed so that you can plan a stay abroad in the 6th semester. The trainees among you will have already completed their final examinations at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) at this point.

A semester at a university abroad can be important for your career planning. In addition, your stay abroad offers you good opportunities to acquire or deepen your language skills and gain important experience.
