Digital Day

Digital media have become an integral part of our everyday lives. They are also increasingly being used in university teaching, but there are still many unanswered questions: What new opportunities does the digitalization of teaching offer? What can innovative teaching concepts look like?

On this Digital Day, all of the instructors at Johannes Gutenberg University and Mainz University of Applied Sciences are invited to come together and take a look at the possible challenges and opportunities of digital teaching. The event takes place every year and offers a changing program that encourages networking, discussion and inspiration. In addition, the winners of the cross-university competition "New Teaching Methods" are honored each year on the Digital Day.Cooperation partners of the Digital Day are Mainz University of Applied Sciences, Johannes Gutenberg University, the Gutenberg Teaching Council and the Virtual Campus Rhineland-Palatinate.

Next Digital Day

The next Digital Day is expected to take place in 2019. A date will be announced in advance.
