International Office

Our International Office is here to assist you with any questions regarding your studies and integration into student life. We regularly organize events and activities to promote intercultural exchange and provide you with an unforgettable study experience in Mainz. Take a look at our partner universities and broaden your personal and professional horizons with a Study Abroad Program (such as Erasmus) during your studies.
 

Student Success Management and Office of Student Affairs

The Office of Student Affairs has already accompanied you at the very start of your studies. Throughout your studies, it will continue to be your contact point for matters such as re-registration, leave of absence, studying with children, and applying for financial support (BAföG). The Student Success Management unit aims to create conditions for a successful study experience. They offer a comprehensive program for all students, including support in academic writing workshops, study counseling, and various workshops.


AStA at Mainz University of Applied Sciences

Another important contact for your studies at Hochschule Mainz is the AStA (General Student Committee). AStA represents the interests of all students, to the university, the state, and the public. The AStA International Affairs department ensures a smooth transition for international students (incomings) into their new university life in Mainz. They regularly organize excursions and events.


Psychological Student Support

We deeply care about providing our students with the necessary support in all life situations. Therefore, we offer psychological counseling as the first point of contact.
We are committed to supporting you throughout your academic journey at Hochschule Mainz and to ensuring that you have a successful and fulfilling study experience.
