Flavio Horbach (born in 1997) works as a research assistant in the WIMM research group, specifically on the AI4MediaData and 5GMedia2Go-Travelguide research projects.

After completing his apprenticeship as an IT specialist for application development at Iconag Leittechnik GmbH (completed in 2018), Flavio Horbach earned a degree in Applied Computer Science from Mainz University of Applied Sciences. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Applied Computer Science at the Birkenfeld Environmental Campus.

Outside of his studies and work, he enjoys app development, soccer, and spending time with friends.
