Connecting Teaching Ideas

"Networking Teaching Ideas" is an inter-university collaboration project involving the HESW, the VCRP, and the eight participating universities aimed at sharing pedagogical concepts.

When faculty members want to expand their options through innovative teaching methods or encounter pedagogical challenges in their teaching, they typically turn first to their immediate professional network, usually within their own department. However, if this network does not provide a solution, it can be difficult to find other colleagues at different institutions who are grappling with similar issues.

This is where the “Networking Teaching Ideas” project comes in: Its primary goal is to connect faculty members with shared interests, encourage exchange, and support the development and dissemination of new teaching ideas. To make this possible, we provide an online platform. We also plan to hold regular events for networking and exchange.

Here's what you can expect on the platform

  • Testimonials from Colleagues
  • Ideas for Your Course
  • Exchange with other instructors
  • Tips and tricks for practical implementation
  • Latest news on topics related to higher education teaching
  • Help and advice on teaching challenges
  • Workshops and networking events
