Computerpool Communication Design
The two computer labs available to students in the program currently contain 2 sets of 13 computer workstations, divided between two rooms. One room is permanently available for individual computer work. The second room is used for computer-related seminars—that is, “hands-on” instruction—and is also available to all students for individual work outside of these times.
The computers are modern Apple machines equipped with the latest software. They can be used for web design, computer technology, information design, and conceptual design with programs for web design, interactive design, image editing, layout, internet communication, video editing, and font creation.
Instructions for Using the Calculators
The computers in the Claudius Pool may only be used by students, professors, and staff in the Design programs. There are 26 workstations available for project work, lectures, and courses. Students can log in to any computer using their personal login credentials (student ID number + last name). Storage space is limited to 2 GB.
