Sleepless in Seattle?

A Must-See for MIT Students

Students in the Master’s program in IT Management went on a field trip to Seattle. Home to Amazon, Microsoft, and Boeing, the city was a mecca of innovation and technology for the IT students from Mainz. Together with the program directors, Prof. Dr. Anett Mehler-Bicher and Prof. Dr. Bernhard Ostheimer, the students explored the metropolis on the U.S. West Coast. They visited all the renowned companies and gained valuable life lessons. They didn’t have time for sleepless nights—in fact, they barely had time to sleep—since they had a packed schedule to complete. “Seattle, the companies, and their culture were impressive. The meetings were consistently ‘outstanding,’” emphasizes Prof. Dr. Anett Mehler-Bicher.
