Digital Semester Ticket and Student ID Card
Student ID and more: Mainz Campus2Go
Digital student ID, library card or European Student Identifier - all these functions are available in the "Mainz Campus2Go" App. Links to OpenOLAT, HIP, CIM can also be found via the App Mainz Campus2Go.
The app can be downloaded now from the Apple Store or Google Play. Using their IT account, students at Mainz University of Applied Sciences have direct access to the functions that have already been activated.
After successful re-registration, students will find the student ID in the app with the start of the new semester. Please note that the Semester Ticket is not provided in this App but needs to be accessed differently.
Germany Semester Ticket (D-Semester Ticket)
The D-Semester Ticket is valid throughout Germany, similar to the Germany Ticket, and is valid for one semester each.
In order to use the D-Semester Ticket, proceed as follows:
- Access the Mainz Mobility campus portal.
- Log in with your date of birth and student number.
You can then add the D-Semester Ticket into the wallet of your smartphone.
FAQs
Yes. Since the winter semester 2023/24 on, the apps have become the new standard, i.e. you will no longer receive paper documents.
The ticket is displayed on a daily basis as soon as you are re-registered for the following semester and the semester begins, i.e. at September 1st for a winter semester and March 1st for a summer semester. The current semester period is always displayed.
The student ID for the following semester will be displayed as soon as you have successfully re-registered and the following semester begins. The current semester period is always displayed. You can see your status from CIM.
The new D-Semesterticket is valid nationwide in all public transport modes (Nahverkehr).
