Photography Workshop

In the photo studio, you’ll find the perfect equipment for professional photo shoots—from lighting equipment to a wide variety of studio accessories. For students, we offer a rental service that gives you access to cameras, lenses, and other technical equipment so that you’re fully equipped for every project. Our black-and-white photo lab allows you to return to classic photographic processes. Here, you can develop your negatives and make prints at one of the six workstations. Camera-less photography is also practiced here. In addition, we offer a space for post-photographic processes where you can explore digital techniques, experimental methods, and multimedia projects.
In an open and collaborative atmosphere, you can experiment, try out new techniques, and expand your skills and knowledge in photography. We look forward to providing you with professional support!

An introductory session is required to use the black-and-white photo lab and the photo studio; all second-semester Communication Design students receive this training during the Photographic Techniques course. Upon request, we offer introductory courses for students in the Interior Architecture and Time-Based Media programs.

Note: To make full use of the photo studio, photo lab, and photo equipment rental, you must have student liability insurance that covers equipment borrowed from an educational institution with a minimum coverage of 10,000 €. You can obtain information about student liability insurance via email or in person.
