Communication Design

Listen to the podcast now

Communication design is ubiquitous, multimedia-based, and multidimensional. Communication design can be found in a magazine, a book, an app, and a website. Communication design helps us find our way when it takes the form of wayfinding signage in buildings. Communication design brings announcements from cultural institutions to life, whether as posters or flyers. That all sounds very functional, but being a communication designer means being creative. So there’s hardly any area of society that isn’t influenced by communication design. In this episode, Karen—who usually works behind the scenes—is asking the questions, because we certainly aren’t going to pass up the chance to interview Pauline herself, who usually hosts the show but is actually studying communication design. Marcel is sitting virtually by her side.
