With around 3,100 students, we are large enough to offer diversity, yet small enough to know you personally. A friendly, close-knit atmosphere, short distances, and good vibes ensure a smooth and enjoyable start to everyday university life. More than 200 lecturers from the business world bring real-world experience and expertise directly to your studies.
Looking ahead: Starting in 2026, all three schools of Mainz University of Applied Sciences will be together at the Lucy-Hillebrand-Strasse location – creating a campus with more room for collaborating and sharing ideas. Right next door, the new Biotechnology Hub Mainz is taking shape as a hotspot for innovation and new career paths.

We have our own public transportation stop, free parking, reliable Wi-Fi and, starting in 2026, all three schools in one location. There’s also a wide range of sports activities. Thanks to the Studierendenwerk, you’ll also find tasty food and affordable student housing. Extra for soccer fans: The MEWA Arena is just one stop away.

The School of Business is easily accessible – on foot, by bike, using public transportation, or by car. You can use your semester ticket for free travel on public transportation, with a streetcar stop right on campus. Free parking is available at the university, too.

Arriving by public transportation. You can reach Mainz University of Applied Sciences from the main train station (Hauptbahnhof) in Mainz using:
- Streetcar line 51 to Lerchenberg
