At the School of Business at Mainz University of Applied Sciences, you will study in a practice-oriented, modern, and well-connected environment. Learning, networking, and a genuine campus experience all come together here.

With around 3,100 students, we are large enough to offer diversity, yet small enough to know you personally. A friendly, close-knit atmosphere, short distances, and good vibes ensure a smooth and enjoyable start to everyday university life. More than 200 lecturers from the business world bring real-world experience and expertise directly to your studies.

Looking ahead: Starting in 2026, all three schools of Mainz University of Applied Sciences will be together at the Lucy-Hillebrand-Strasse location – creating a campus with more room for collaborating and sharing ideas. Right next door, the new Biotechnology Hub Mainz is taking shape as a hotspot for innovation and new career paths.

Modern, easy to navigate, with short distances and plenty of room to breathe. Learn, chill, and connect – in the courtyard, the cafeteria, or the library. We have our own public transportation stop, free parking, reliable Wi-Fi and, starting in 2026, all three schools in one location. There’s also a wide range of sports activities. Thanks to the Studierendenwerk, you’ll also find tasty food and affordable student housing. Extra for soccer fans: The MEWA Arena is just one stop away.

The campus: easy to reach.

The School of Business is easily accessible – on foot, by bike, using public transportation, or by car. You can use your semester ticket for free travel on public transportation, with a streetcar stop right on campus. Free parking is available at the university, too.

Arriving by public transportation. You can reach Mainz University of Applied Sciences from the main train station (Hauptbahnhof) in Mainz using:

  • Streetcar line 51 to Lerchenberg
    Stops: “Jakob-Heinz-Straße/Arena” and “Hochschule Mainz”
  • Streetcar line 53 to Lerchenberg
    Stops: “Jakob-Heinz-Straße/Arena” and “Hochschule Mainz”
  • Streetcar line 59 to Hochschule Mainz
    Stops: “Jakob-Heinz-Straße/Arena” and “Hochschule Mainz”
  • Bus line 650 to Sprendlingen
    Stop: “Hochschule Mainz/Campusbrücke”

  • Bus line 75 to Jakob-Heinz-Straße/Arena
    Stop: “Hochschule Mainz/Campusbrücke”

You can also reach the university on the following bus route, which does not go through Mainz’s main train station (Hauptbahnhof):

  • Bus route 74 (Mombacher Kreisel > Gonsenheim/Elbestraße > Hochschule Mainz > Hechtsheim/Mühldreieck and vice versa)
