Erasmus+ – Mobility with Partner Countries

With the funding line for international mobility established in Erasmus+ in 2015—i.e. mobility with partner countries outside Europe in the higher education sector—mobility opportunities are supported not only within Europe but worldwide for students and university staff.

Funding is available for student mobility for study purposes as well as for teaching and staff mobility. Internships are not funded in the current programme cycles.

Within Erasmus+ cooperation with partner countries outside Europe, exchange agreements are concluded with selected partner institutions, in line with the established Erasmus+ programme for higher education. Funding approval for these programme areas is tied to specific countries and partner institutions. Calls for applications are usually issued once per year. Eligible applicants are higher education institutions participating in the Erasmus+ programme.
