Applied Informatics M. Sc.

The master's program offers broad and integrated, science-based work in the field of information technology. You will learn to solve practice-relevant and scientific problems in information technology, incorporating scientific and methodological considerations.

You will gain a comprehensive, detailed, and critical understanding of the latest knowledge and technology in the fields of software engineering, software development, applied artificial intelligence, information visualization (e. g., with augmented and virtual reality), and general information technology.

       

Course Content

In the first two semesters, you will deepen your understanding of the findamentals of applied computer science through your chosen major - either software engineering or artificial intelligence.

In the following two semesters, you will put your acquired knowledge into practice through a project with your fellow students and your master's thesis.
