On May 3, 2023, the School of Business is organizing the 5th Company Fair at Mainz University of Applied Sciences. The networking & career fair offers students the opportunity to meet 55 companies in person and find out about internships, student jobs, and starting a career. Among others, Brita, Deutsche Bundesbank, Deutsche Lufthansa, Deloitte, Eckes-Granini, EY, KPMG, Mainzer Volksbank, PwC, Schott, Werner & Mertz, and more than 40 additional companies from the region will be present.
The speed meetings are particularly attractive: Here, students have the opportunity to learn a lot about the companies in short and snappy presentations.
The participating companies offer a wide range of career opportunities, one of them being VICAMPO, a company from the wine sector that aims to offer the perfect balance between work and pleasure. Werner & Mertz will highlight career opportunities in the field of sustainability, and modern tech startup Local Brand X from Mainz is looking forward to exchanging ideas with interested students. We are also pleased to welcome numerous alumni of the university, such as KPMG, which employs an above-average number of former students of Mainz University of Applied Sciences.
The Company Fair begins at 10 a.m. and offers the opportunity to make contacts and expand your own network until 4 p.m. All students of Mainz University of Applied Sciences are cordially invited to participate in the event to score their first points for starting a career at a later stage. Lorena, a business student at Mainz University of Applied Sciences, took advantage of the opportunity at the last Company Fair and landed a job as a student trainee at Necara.
There will also be plenty of fun to be had: The Bum-Bum Baller Box of the 1. FSV Mainz 05 is a treat for all soccer fans. The 05 fans in particular will really go for it here, because whoever shoots the fastest will win two tickets for the match against Schalke 04.
For the second time, Müller Kaffee will be providing attendees with all they need to enjoy a cup of coffee. For the fans of cold drinks, we would like to thank Eckes-Granini for their support.
