A look back at CD at Info Day 2025

May 24 – A day filled with impressions, conversations, and inspiration

It was that time again on May 24, 2025: Mainz University of Applied Sciences hosted its Info Day, and the Department of Communication Design was there, as always! Prospective students had the opportunity to find out about our range of degree courses and engage in informal discussions on campus.

There were plenty of student projects to discover at the Department’s information booth: creative work from the bachelor’s and master’s degree programs and discussions with lecturers, students, and the Department’s Student Council.
In her presentation, Prof. Anna-Lisa Schönecken offered practical and vivid insights into the bachelor’s degree program in Communication Design. The new Master's degree program 2025 was also presented: Exploring Uncertainties. The master’s program team presented the concept both in person and online, including the opportunity for individual portfolio reviews.

Communication Design was also represented in the student lecture series in the auditorium: Lisa Halbgewachs presented her bachelor’s thesis Cookbooks as a Tool for Empowerment – an inspiring look at creative work that takes a stance. Prof. Alexander Roidl rounded off the program with an overview of the degree program.
