When trains move bridges

A team from i3mainz and the AIGeo department performed surveys on bridges in Bielefeld and Hamburg to measure the vibrations caused by the passage of new long-distance trains.

VR Surveying in CAVE

As part of her internship at i3mainz, Aida Yousefi developed a functional prototype for simulating surveying exercises. Aida is a student in the Master’s degree program in Applied Informatics and a research assistant at the i3mainz research institute.
