Performance & Quality Manager at AMAG Services AG, Europcar Switzerland

Who are you and what company do you currently work for? And in what position (your responsibilities)?

I have been working as Performance & Quality Manager at Europcar Switzerland since April 2025. Europcar is a franchise company in Switzerland belonging to the AMAG Group, the largest vehicle importer in Switzerland. In my role, I am responsible for the new implementation and further development of the bonus system for additional sales at car rental stations throughout Switzerland and am also responsible for optimising the customer journey. I am also responsible for training and strategic and conceptual management.

What is your bachelor’s degree in?

In my Bachelor's degree, I studied French and educational science as I initially wanted to become a teacher. However, I quickly realised that I wanted to go into business and management. So I already took business French courses in my Bachelor's degree.

Why did you choose the Master’s in Franco-German Management?

With my non-economics Bachelor's degree, I was looking for a Master's programme that did not require any previous knowledge of economics. The Master Management Franco-Allemand met this requirement and so I chose this degree programme due to the complexity of the course content and the firmly integrated practical phases. It was also important to me not to lose touch with France and the language.

What expectations did you have of the Master’s in Franco-German Management? What makes this degree program unique from your point of view?

I wanted to complete a Master's programme that would open up interesting and diverse career prospects for me. As I didn't know exactly which direction I wanted to take at the beginning of my Master's programme, it was a great advantage that the ‘Management Franco-Allemand’ Master's programme covers a wide range of specialisations. Controlling, project management, human resources, marketing... This is exactly what makes the programme unique in my eyes, as it gives you the opportunity to discover your own - perhaps previously undiscovered - strengths. Of course, the fact that you leave the university at the end of the programme with a total of one year's practical experience is also a very special and unique feature of this degree programme - and this despite the fact that it takes just two years to complete.

Is there anything in your studies that has remained particularly memorable for you?
