Admission requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree from a university, a university of applied sciences or an equivalent higher education institution in Germany or an equivalent final examination abroad in business law or a similar degree program with at least 210 ECTS credits. If the previous degree program comprises fewer than 210 ECTS credits, but at least 180 ECTS credits, you must make up the remaining 30 ECTS credits in a bridge course or as part of the master's program before registering for the master's thesis.
- Applicants must prove that they have completed the aforementioned degree program with a grade point average of no less than 2.5. Applicants who have passed the first state law examination must prove that they have completed their first degree with at least a satisfactory grade (legal grading scale from 0-18 points: from 6.50 points). This also applies to applicants whose degree program used a legal grading scale (0-18 points) without requiring a state law examination.
