From September 25 to 27, 2025, Mainz will shine in a fascinating play of light, color, and music. Last year, the festival attracted around 75,000 visitors to the city – in 2025, guests can once again look forward to an unforgettable light experience. In addition to popular highlights from previous years, new buildings and squares will also be artfully illuminated and brought to life with creative projections. The festival projects were developed by students of the study program Time-Based Media.
