Your path to dual studies

Requirements for degree programs with integrated vocational training

  • Collaboration contract with the university (the company needs to name someone to act as a contact for Mainz University of Applied Sciences)
  • Suitable tasks for students at the company, in line with the structure of the degree program
  • A vocational training contract with students
  • Dedicated contact for students who also has a training certification
  • Vocational training pay

On-the-job degree programs (bachelor’s and master’s)

Here, a degree program is combined with work (often part-time, at least 50 percent). Prospective students must have an employment contract with a company. The work activities must be relevant.

Studying with integrated vocational training

Vocational school is not required for dual students. However, most employers do value this additional training.
