Teamwork is the future. — How can diversity and interdisciplinary perspectives be fostered in software development? As part of the WiSE research project, we are addressing this question and bringing students from non-technical degree programs and software development companies together. Mutual preconceptions and misunderstandings will be challenged, interdisciplinary work made tangible, and the concrete added value of perspectives from the humanities and social sciences made visible.
WiSE – Activating Women in Software Engineering is a collaborative project between Mainz University of Applied Sciences, Fraunhofer IESE, and Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
