Four students from Uganda

Mobility with Partner Countries makes it possible to study in Mainz

Agatha, Illuminate, Ambrose, and Linus are scholarship holders from Uganda who came to Mainz as part of the KA171 project Mobility with Partner Countries. Mobility with Partner Countries offers German universities the opportunity of academic exchange and cooperation with all countries worldwide – the partner countries.

These four scholarship holders are the first students from Uganda to study with us and complete their Master of Business Administration at the Mbarara University of Science and Technology. They are really enjoying their studies in Mainz. “We can choose certain classes, get to know students from all over the world,” Illuminate enthuses. Her fellow student Linus is enthusiastic about Mainz. “Mainz is a great city,” he says. The foursome wants to get to know the foreign culture and society, make a lot of contacts and “of course enjoy their time here,” adds Ambrose.
