Best Poster Award goes to a paper from the School of Engineering

For the paper Claire Ponciano presented at the WEBIST Conference 2022, she, Markus Schaffert, Falk Würriehausen and Jean-Jacques Ponciano were awarded the WEBIST 2022 Best Poster Award. Congratulations to the whole team.

The paper titled Publish and enrich geospatial data as Linked Open Data addresses the question of how data of different provenance, formats, and languages can be linked and semantically enhanced as Linked Open Data. The presentation is available in the linked video.

The International Conference on Web Information Systems and Technologies (WEBIST), which took place in late October in Valletta, Malta, aims to bring together people interested in web-based information systems. One focus is on the development of the Semantic Web.
