“Discover your possibilities” was the theme on May 13 on campus at Mainz University of Applied Sciences, where the three schools of Design, Engineering, and Business introduced themselves in a wide range of offerings and formats.

After a welcome address by the university president, Prof. Dr. Susanne Weissman, prospective students had the opportunity to listen to interesting presentations by the various schools in the auditorium–for example, on sizing perpetrators and the spatial analysis of ATM explosions, or on how media professionals can use the products they design to influence political processes and social developments.

In the Magistrale, attendees had the chance to examine architectural models, explore new perspectives with VR goggles, and obtain extensive information about the dual degree programs in business administration and applied informatics. Throughout the day, prospective students had the opportunity to speak directly with students and professors about the wide range of opportunities at the university. The Communication Design degree program also invited students to a portfolio review, among other things.

In the inner courtyard on campus, food trucks and a waffle stand provided snacks, and numerous visitors, along with students and faculty, took the opportunity to continue their conversations outdoors over a salad, a burger, or a waffle on a stick.
