DAAD Award for Franco Rosso

Master's degree student excels with outstanding performance and social commitment

In 2020, our graduate Franco Rosso from Rafaela in Argentina was awarded the DAAD Prize. Franco Rosso thanked his two universities for the opportunity to study in this degree program and said, “I am very proud of this award and Mainz University of Applied Sciences and UCES, who organize the master’s degree program as a team, can be just as proud.”

Franco Rosso graduated in 2017 as the best in his degree program and was among the top three graduates of all degree programs at his university in Rafaela.

The native of Argentina now works as a full-time Project Manager in the international division at ioki in Frankfurt. For Franco Rosso, studying in Mainz was a unique experience that helped him grow, both academically and personally. “I would like to give other students the advice to go abroad, learn new languages and meet other students from different countries,” Rosso emphasizes. He adds, “You wouldn’t be able to have these experiences if you didn’t go abroad to study.”
