Projects

To offer you as much practical relevance as possible, various projects are carried out during your first semester at IAE Metz: You will ideally combine theory and practice while implementing projects in internationally mixed teams. The German-French projects have a long tradition within the degree program and are the highlight at the end of the semester every year. But what exactly do the projects look like and how do they work? What are the themes of the projects? Below you will find a list of the individual projects, as well as an overview of the project contents.

Petits Claps

Do you like watching movies and series and would love to take part in a film project yourself? As a project member of the Petits Claps, you organize a film competition, which thrives on the fact that young film enthusiasts from Germany, France, and other countries send in their own short film productions and, with a little luck, win the competition and a prize.

Metz en Musik

Do you play an instrument and are you passionate about music? At Metz en Musik, you and your fellow students will organize a musical evening in Metz, contacting various orchestral groups, musicians, singers, and choirs under your own responsibility to ensure the audience has an unforgettable evening!

Marché du Terroir

Regional products and supporting regional producers are something that is close to your heart? You like to go to weekly markets to buy fresh vegetables and fruits? Then you will get your money’s worth by organizing the Marché du Terroir! Together with your project group, you will organize a weekly market that takes place at the central Place de la République, attracting numerous visitors who love fresh and regional products as much as you do.

FAAR

If you are interested in art and you can imagine organizing an exhibition on a specific theme, then FAAR (Forum des Artistes Acteurs de la Grande Région) is the perfect project for you! With your project team, you will present a wide range of artwork to interested people, whose artists you choose yourself. For a period of several days, the public can visit your art exhibition to admire the unique works of art.

Direction AMFA

Are you talented at organizing and do you always keep track of upcoming appointments and relevant deadlines? At Direction AMFA, you ensure that all projects run smoothly from an administrative perspective: This includes the management of grants and financial resources for the implementation of the projects, as well as the running of the social media channels. At the same time, you are the main contact for the project groups, who can turn to you with questions of different natures.

The various project groups are formed right at the beginning of the semester, and it is especially important to us to take your individual interests into account when assigning them. The project groups usually consist of four to five students of both nationalities. This diverse composition provides a very special added value to the project outcome: The cultural differences and the diversity of characters are ultimately what make the individual projects successful.
