Language Requirements
Proof must be provided via one of the specified language tests only:
- TOEFL 92
- TOEIC 800
- IELTS 6,5
- Cambridge Certificate Advanced or Proficiency (C/B/A)
- Linguaskill 180
- OTE Advanced (Oxford Test of English) C1
If the higher education entrance qualification (HZB) was obtained in Germany, no proof is required.
For all other applicants, proof of level A2 is required through one of the following options:
- Goethe Certificate A2
- German Language Diploma of the KMK – DSD I, Level A2
- telc German A2
- ÖSD Certificate A2
- ECL (European Consortium for the Certificate of Attainment in Modern Languages) German A2
- G.A.S.T. e.V. (Society for Academic Study Preparation and Test Development) German Test for Immigrants (DTZ) A2
Of course, certificates from these institutions showing a higher level may also be submitted. A higher level than A2 can also be demonstrated through TestDaF or DSH.
At least level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. This can be verified with the university entrance qualification or other language certificates.
