GENERAL STUDENT ADVISORY SERVICE

The university's General Student Advisory Service supports German and international prospective students in their orientation and search for a matching degree program. It provides information on course content, study requirements, the application process and helps to sort through information and to make a good decision.

As a student, the General Student Advisory Service accompanies you through every phase of your studies with offers such as support academic success advisory service and workshops, even if you change your subject or university or have doubts about your studies. The services are aimed at all students at Mainz University of Applied Sciences - regardless of which subject area or study phase you are in.
Our services are free of charge, confidential and open-ended. We support you in your personal decision-making process and work with you to develop individual and fitting solutions and strategies to successfully resolve your concerns. Above all, it is important to us that we take an appreciative and empathetic approach and that the consultation remains confidential. We are therefore committed to the counseling concept of the “Gesellschaft für Information, Beratung und Therapie an Hochschulen e.V.” (GIBeT).
