The business community is visiting the Mainz University of Applied Sciences campus. On Thursday, May 5, 2022, more than 40 companies will showcase their opportunities to the workforce of tomorrow. Students will have the chance to talk with company representatives and explore job opportunities, work-study positions, internships, and thesis projects.
We’re excited to welcome companies from various industries, including finance & insurance, auditing & consulting, manufacturing & trade, and IT, software & communications. Elena, a full-time business administration student, also had nothing but praise for the last Career Day: “I think it’s great to be able to talk directly with the companies here. Maybe I even found an internship today.”
From the companies’ perspective, too, it’s worth attending: The BRITA Group from Taunusstein wants to give students “an insight into what it’s like to be part of the BRITA family as a young person.” For CURACON, a nationwide auditing firm, “direct contact with students is always particularly valuable.” From experience, they know that such encounters “often lead to internships and entry-level opportunities.” URANO, the regional IT solutions partner and employer, is always on the lookout for new colleagues. For this cooperation partner of the Department of Economics, “Company Day is always a great opportunity to engage with creative and highly educated young professionals.”
So it’s definitely worth attending the fourth edition of the Business Day. And this year, it’s possible to attend in person again!
