Labor Law at the Highest Level

With funding from the Department of Economics, students in the Master’s program in Business Law (Labor Law and Human Resources Management) traveled to Erfurt for two days in mid-December, accompanied by the program director, Prof. Dr. Katharina Dahm. Lecturer Nataly Petersen (judge at the Koblenz Labor Court, mediator, currently seconded to the Federal Labor Court) had arranged for the group to observe three hearings before the Federal Labor Court—including a thematic preparation and debriefing of the hearings, a tour of the building, and lunch in the cafeteria. Of course, the two days also included plenty of time to explore downtown Erfurt, including its many Christmas markets.
