The Communication Design graduates have just wrapped up a productive and exciting exhibition week, during which they presented their bachelor’s and master’s theses at the LUX Pavilion at Mainz University of Applied Sciences. The exhibition, which took place from January 26 to February 3, 2024, was an impressive showcase of our students’ creative, innovative, and technically sound work.
A wide variety of projects were presented, reflecting the broad spectrum of communication design. From web design and illustration to photography and multimedia, interdisciplinary projects—the students showcased their skills and talent across a variety of media and formats. The exhibition was characterized by a wealth of exciting exhibition concepts, as well as a wide variety of themes explored by the students.
The exhibition provided an excellent opportunity for our graduates to present their work to a broader public and engage in discourse about it. The lively and very well-attended opening reception and closing event, in particular, created a space for exchange and discussion in a relaxed atmosphere. On February 1, the closing event served as a successful platform for graduates Nike Seiff, Max Lambrecht, and Malin Günther, who presented their final projects during the event.
We welcomed many visitors to the LUX Pavilion throughout the week—the Bachelor’s and Master’s exhibition of the Communication Design program for the 2023/24 winter semester was a resounding success and provided an impressive glimpse into the graduates’ work. The exhibition showcased not only the diversity of communication design but also the students’ passion and dedication to their work.
