Since the IT security incident at Mainz University of Applied Sciences on 24 November 2025, the crisis response team has been working to ensure that students and employees of the university remain operational and that systems are gradually restored. At that time, all IT systems were completely shut down for security reasons. The situation has been challenging for all members of the university ever since. Teaching continues to take place in person.
