On April 28, fifty aspiring women founders from five universities embarked on their eight-month startup scholarship. The ten participants from Mainz University of Applied Sciences are launching ventures in areas including construction, the creative industries, software, and marketing.
This year, Mainz University of Applied Sciences is collaborating with Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Technical University of Darmstadt, and Goethe University Frankfurt to support a total of 50 women on their path to an entrepreneurial career, providing mentoring, material resources, workshops, and workspaces.
EXIST Women is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
