Field trip to Panama

International experience as an integral part of the degree program

Students of the master’s degree program in Business Administration at Mainz University of Applied Sciences gained valuable insights into the economic structures and cultural characteristics of Panama during their field trip to the Central American country. Accompanied by program director Prof. Dr. Norbert Rohleder, they explored important companies and key economic hubs.

The program included visits to Doka Panama, Kuehne+Nagel, and Liebherr Mining, as well as a tour of the world-famous Panama Canal. In addition to economic aspects, the trip also offered the opportunity to get to know Panama, its people, and its cultural diversity in depth.

The field trip to a different economic and cultural region is an integral part of the master’s degree program. It broadens horizons, strengthens intercultural skills, and allows students to establish valuable international networks. It is an experience that will have a lasting impact on them.
