Digital attacks, data leaks, and security breaches have long been part of everyday life in our networked world. Protecting sensitive information and systems has become a crucial responsibility for both the business world business and our society. Mainz University of Applied Sciences is responding to this development with a new degree program: Starting in the winter semester of 2025/2026, the School of Business will launch the bachelor’s degree program Cyber Security Management B.Sc.
Students will gain practical insights into topics such as secure software development, penetration testing, change management, and information security management. A high proportion of practical experience and the possibility of an optional practical phase guarantee a close link between theory and professional applications.
The degree program will initially be offered as a full-time program. A dual version is also planned to start in the 2026/2027 winter semester – tailored to the needs of companies and students.
The Bachelor of Science B.Sc. degree opens up a wide range of career opportunities for graduates – at companies, public authorities, or organizations specializing in security, for example.
Applications for the 2025/2026 winter semester can be submitted starting in mid-May 2025.
