New German Cinema Encouragement Award for “Lynn, the Housekeeper”

The lead actress was awarded the Encouragement Prize

Vicky Krieps, the lead actress in the film *Lynn, the Maid*, won the New German Cinema Award at the Munich Film Festival. The film was directed by Ingo Haeb, who is currently a lecturer in the Time-Based Media program and teaches the course “Screenwriting.”
The film was produced by Prof. Olaf Hirschberg of 58FILME, who heads the Chair of Cinematography and Lighting Design in the same program.

Synopsis:
Ingo Haeb’s film tells the story of Lynn, a chambermaid who rummages through hotel guests’ belongings and secretly crawls under their beds at night to eavesdrop on strangers’ lives. She falls in love with the androgynous call girl Chiara. The story of an “amour très fou.”
