exist-Women Funding Program

Extension of the Application Period

Mainz University of Applied Sciences is currently accepting applications for the exist-Women support program, which is specifically designed for women interested in starting a business. The program supports women in the early stages of starting a business—whether they have a concrete business idea or not yet have a fully developed concept.

Over a period of nine months, participants receive training and support designed to prepare them for the transition to self-employment or a career as an entrepreneur. This includes selected workshops on topics such as empowerment, idea development, team building, and financing, as well as the opportunity to network with up to 50 aspiring female founders.

In addition, participants can receive in-kind funding of 2,000 euros for their project. Furthermore, those who meet the eligibility and qualification criteria may receive a three-month stipend of up to 3,000 euros per month to focus intensively on their own startup idea.

The program is aimed at women interested in starting a business, regardless of whether they already have a specific idea. A connection to Mainz University of Applied Sciences is not required for participation.

The program is organized by the startup service “meins – Startup Service Mainz University of Applied Sciences” and implemented in collaboration with Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, Technical University of Darmstadt, and Goethe University Frankfurt.

The application period for the program at Mainz University of Applied Sciences has been extended through April 7, 2026.
