Prof. Dr. Markus Hehn visited the International Campus of Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Venlo this week and was impressed by the university’s innovative and highly practice-oriented approach. Fontys has a total of more than 44,000 students across its three campuses in Eindhoven, Tilburg, and Venlo. The university offers a variety of bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in German, Dutch, and English. In addition to business administration courses, the university also offers programs in engineering, the arts, and education.
In discussions with the director of the International Office, @Arian van Hulsen, and her staff, as well as faculty members Harald Klijnman, Lin Salcedo Knicknie, Blain Lambert, Ron Bussemakers, and Ronald Jansen, Markus Hehn discussed the future structure of the partnership as well as opportunities for cooperation beyond student exchange.
It was a particular pleasure for Markus Hehn to teach Fontys students on the topics of M&A and private equity. “We are very pleased to have gained Fontys as a new partner and are convinced that many German and Dutch students will benefit from this collaboration and are sure to have unforgettable experiences in Venlo, Tilburg, Eindhoven, and Mainz in the future,” the lecturer emphasized.
