As part of Prof. Dr. Markus Hehn’s “Banking and Finance” and “Corporate Finance” elective courses, a joint practical session was held on April 26, 2021, via Zoom with the Ludwigshafen University of Business and Society, specifically with students in the Business Administration program specializing in Finance.
Dr. Thorsten Koch (Managing Director of Deutsche Bank AG) gave a presentation on the topic: “Special Considerations in the Valuation of Banks, Taking into Account Current Strategic and Regulatory Challenges” and also spoke about the future of work in the financial sector during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Students from both universities were thus able to gain very interesting insights into the current financial world and benefit directly from the guest speaker’s outstanding expertise. Thanks to digital technology, it was possible to hold the guest lecture seamlessly across “university boundaries,” Markus Hehn noted with satisfaction.
