PUBLISHING
In the Publishing category, the Designlabor Gutenberg Institute at Mainz University of Applied Sciences was awarded the Gold Award for its comprehensive publication “Moholy-Nagy and the New Typography.” Developed over the course of three years, the book documents a research project for the National Bauhaus Year based on the rediscovered exhibition panels from the 1929 “New Typography” exhibition curated by László Moholy-Nagy. With 256 elaborately designed pages, this high-quality, hardcover publication—published by Kettler—makes the subject matter impressively accessible.
