The School of Business at Mainz University of Applied Sciences is further expanding its international profile by adding a new English-language bachelor’s degree program, International Business B.Sc., which will start in the 2025/2026 winter semester. With this step, the university is further broadening its international profile. The six-semester program combines business fundamentals with intercultural skills and international practical experience – optimally tailored to the requirements of global markets.

Students acquire in-depth knowledge in key areas such as marketing, management, logistics, accountin,g and human resources. The curriculum is supplemented by methodological principles and practical content. Special features of the degree program include:

  • A semester abroad at an international partner university
  • Practical phases in globally operating companies
  • Intercultural teamwork with students from all over the world

A flexible degree model with language training

The modular program is aimed at students from all over the world. International students benefit from integrated German courses and an extended practical phase. Students who already speak German well can improve their foreign language skills and take advantage of international study options.
“Our students experience internationalization not only in theory, but also in their everyday interactions – they acquire the linguistic and cultural skills they need for a global career,” explains Prof. Dr. Daniel Porath, Degree Program Director. “Our program offers an innovative learning environment in one of Germany's most dynamic regions.”

Excellent career prospects worldwide

With the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree, graduates acquire an internationally recognized qualification that ideally prepares them for demanding specialized and management roles in international companies. The degree program also provides a solid foundation for postgraduate master’s degree programs in Germany and abroad.

Target group and applying to the program

The degree program is aimed at international and German students who would like to complete an internationally oriented business degree in English.

Applications can be submitted starting in mid-May.
