New Website for the Latest Issue of KiR Magazine Launched

“Relevance and Integrity” was the theme explored by students in the “Communication in Space” master’s program during the summer semester of 2020. As in previous years, the results were published in KiR Magazine.

For the first time, the print edition of the magazine is supplemented by an online platform. “Since this issue was produced during an extraordinary time—the first COVID-19 lockdown—we decided to make excerpts from our magazine available online as well,” the students explained.

In the current issue, the students explored questions such as: What moves us? Where do we, as designers, see our social responsibility? What do we want to achieve, change, or improve?

“In interviews with fascinating artists and designers, we’ve explored how they define relevance and integrity for themselves personally and in their work. In this 2020 issue of KiR Magazine, we now present the full scope of our exploration, the interviews, and our insights,” explain the authors.

KiR Magazine

The current issue of KiR Magazine is already the fifth to be published since 2016. The magazine is produced as part of the “Communication in Space” master’s program in the field of interior architecture. Prof. Markus Pretnar supervises the theory module in the second semester of the master’s program.
