Under the motto “Come along!”, Mainz University of Applied Sciences organizes guided tours and field trips for its employees from time to time.
On May 7, a group visited the Mainz State Theater and got a behind-the-scenes look in entirely new ways. The participants watched as the stage set was being built and saw how the orchestra pit disappears when music isn’t needed during a performance. They observed makeup artists at work and saw everything being built in the carpentry shop. They explored the “main theater” in ways completely different from a typical theater visit, navigating many flights of stairs across all floors.
The next excursion will take place on June 4 to the greenhouses of the Botanical Garden at Johannes Gutenberg University.
