Prof. Dr. Daniel Porath is currently conducting a two-week training course on quantitative research methods for PhD students in Arba Minch, Ethiopia. His seminar has been very well received. In addition to the PhD students from our partner university in Arba Minch, 10 lecturers (not professors) from Wollega University have also traveled to participate in the course. They undertook a long journey, as Arba Minch is a two-day trip from Wollega University! After Arba Minch, Prof. Porath will travel to Addis Ababa, where he will also teach a two-week course in econometrics.
